Shock Absorber is another crucial devices of yours vehicle's springs and suspensions. Its key function is cushioning the impact and reducing the vibration of the car while driving on the road.  Most of the shock absorbers attached to the car are twin tube systems because the inside is a double cylinder. (some European cars also have a mono tube system.) The advantage is that it provides a smooth, standard feel and nexpensive to replace. Due to the fact that the shock absorber OEMs are designed just for everyday use. With low production costs to control prices and assemble cars from the factory for sale. So, some materials are less durable and have a shorter lifespan than aftermarket shock absorbers.

 

Aftermarket Shock Absorber

Some brands can also customize the fork piston valve to fill the specific car owner's needs (Tailor Made). For example, if you want extra softness and less car swaying, which is suitable for elderly passengers or those with bone pain. Although the Aftermarket shock absorber price is considerably higher than the OEMs, you get more value from what you invested.

 

So, this is why Aftermarket shock absorbers are better than OEMs. However, it depends on the owner of the car which shock absorber is the most suitable for one.
